Job summary

Technica LLC is seeking Warehouse Specialists for support at DLA Red River Army Depot in New Boston. Work Shift: 2pm-10:30pm with 30 minute meal break.

You will perform warehousing duties, verify materials, route items, store, inventory, inspect for damage, and handle material for shipment, potentially operating hand or power trucks. A Secret clearance and CAC are required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot or cold environments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a CAC
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in environments exposed to heat and cold
• Have the ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• At least one year experience with Supply Management operation systems
• Prior knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures

• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
• Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift up 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.
