Job summary

Technipaq, Inc. in Cary, IL is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the 1st shift (7:30 am to 4:00 pm, M-F). You will supply production lines with materials, load and unload trucks, and prep orders for shipment in a fast paced, safety minded environment.

Candidates must be 18+, have forklift experience with RF scanners, perform inventory counts, and move products to shelving up to five levels. You should lift up to 50 pounds and push 200–400 pounds, read measurements, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of accident-free forklift operation.
• 2+ years shipping/receiving experience with forklift.
• Experience moving product to shelves up to 5 levels high with forklift.
• Experience with inventory counts and RF scanners.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and push 200–400 pounds with cart/pallet jack.
• Able to measure to 1/16 in and perform basic math.
• Reliable and able to work independently.
• English reading, writing, and speaking.

Job description

Shift available:

• 1st Shift: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, M-F, in our Cary, IL location

Required Skills:

• Must be 18 years of age or older;


• Must have 2+ years of accident free sit down or stand-up forklift operation required;


• Must have 2+ years experience with shipping and receiving like loading and unloading materials from trucks with forklift, reading and creating shipping labels, etc.


• Must have previous experience with moving product from floor to shelving units at least 5 levels high with a forklift and experience picking product from stacked shelving and delivering to machines with forklift;


• Must have previous experience doing inventory counts and using RF scanners;


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and push from 200-400 pounds with cart, hand truck or pallet jack;


• Must be able to measure and interpret measurements up to a 1/16th of an inch using rulers, and have good basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with ease;


• Must be able to work independently and be reliable;


• Must be able to read, write and orally communicate in English.

The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in supplying our production lines with materials to keep productivity at peak levels 24-hours a day. This position is responsible for warehouse materials being delivered to and from production areas in order to meet customer promised ship dates. The Warehouse Specialist also tracks on-hand inventory of materials in order to ensure we are able to meet our customer orders every time; and is also responsible for meeting material demands of our production areas by filling allocation sheets submitted to the warehouse for material supply. This position will also assist in the following:

• Loading and unloading trucks


• Prepping orders for shipment


• Putting away used materials


• The general maintenance of all warehouse areas.

Warehouse Specialists report to our Warehouse Supervisors and interact with all levels of the company in order to make sure customer specifications and quality guidelines are met.
