Scientific Protein Laboratories is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to accurately pull orders, verify packing slips, and prepare shipments for prompt delivery in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will enter purchase orders, process receipts, and support inventory control while ensuring correct shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Picks items from warehouse shelves to fill orders for non-stock items or special orders.
• Verifies quantities against packing slips and purchase orders, counts items for accuracy.
• Enters purchase orders into the computer to generate shipping tickets and processes receipts.
• Sends return shipments to manufacturer for repairs; attaches sales order numbers to shipping tickets.

JOB SUMMARYThe Warehouse Specialist pulls orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment. Verifies and enters receipt of incoming shipments.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESObtains merchandise from warehouse shelves to fill orders for non-stock items or special orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities.Places items in containers and wraps so that the invoice is visible.Adheres to established work schedules in a consistently reliable manner, and performs job responsibilities and delivers work products on a dependable and timely basis.Compares identifying information and quantities on the packing slip against the purchase order, counts items for verification, and indicates any discrepancies.Enters the purchase orders by the computer to generate shipping tickets.Sends return shipments to manufacturer for repairs.Indicates sales order number on the shipping ticket and attaches it to the box or sack.Enters other incoming shipments in the computer.QUALIFICATIONSEducation: High School Diploma or G.E.D required.Experience: 2+ years of experience preferred.Schedule: 1st ShiftWHY JOIN SPL?Our employees are our success!
