Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation's Chicago Cross-Dock is seeking Warehouse Specialists to support product fulfillment for Ace Retailers. You will work as part of a values-driven team handling receiving, stocking, order filling, and shipping.

Safety is emphasized; you will use forklifts and RF scanners, lift up to 50 lbs, and may work weekends/holidays. The role offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to stoop, squat, and kneel regularly, and lift/carry up to 50lbs.
• Availability on weekends and holidays may be required.
• Be a safety champion and actively contribute to our safety-centric culture.
• Highly motivated, Detail-oriented, and Self-Starter.
• Preferred: Warehousing, distribution, farming, light industrial/manufacturing, or construction experience.
• Preferred: Familiarity with operating warehousing power equipment.
• Preferred: Comfortability using voice-directed systems.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload freight using forklift and RF scanner, then stock.
• Shipping: load product onto outgoing trailers using power equipment.
• Help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse environment.
• Support receiving, stocking, order filling and shipping processes.

Our Chicago Cross-Dock is looking for Warehouse Specialists to add to our team as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing product fulfillment services to our Ace Retailers and their communities. In this role, you will work as a part of a Values-Driven Culture team to service Ace Retailers by warehousing Ace merchandise and fulfilling orders, including responsibilities in Receiving, Stocking, Order Filling, and Shipping:

• Receiving: Utilize forklift, and/or other power equipment to unload freight, andprocess product via RF Scanner onto dock in preparation for stocking.


• Shipping: Operate aforklift or other power equipment to strategically load product onto outgoing trailers.
