Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead safety, productivity and attendance, guiding workgroups to achieve high standards of accuracy, customer service, and organization.

The role emphasizes innovative leadership and cross-functional collaboration, with responsibilities for training, coaching, and ensuring policy compliance across the facility. A Bachelor''s degree and management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed and compliance with department, station, corporate and local requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and inter-departmental cooperation.
• Implements employee development plans to support continued growth.
• Ensures orientation, training and coaching for staff.
