Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring Warehouse Sorters to help keep the distribution flow smooth. You will sort, arrange, and stack cartons and totes onto pallets, following specific instructions to maximize space and accessibility. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accuracy in handling goods across multiple zones.

Typical shifts include 3:00pm to finish or 6:00am to finish, with a 4-day work week offered. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with overtime as needed, and the ability to lift heavy

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly for the shift.
• Able to lift and move products up to 50–90 lbs, depending on location.
• Capable of working in cooler, freezer, and dry environments.
• Able to obtain powered equipment certifications such as forklift operation.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to meet routine or special demands.
• Maintains a high level of detail in balers, aisles, racking, floors, and door pits.
• Consolidates merchandise into picking containers as necessary.
• Packs products securely in cartons and totes.
• Ensures shipping IDs are applied and cartons/totes are marked with run and stop numbers.
• Pulls orders according to sequencing on the delivery route/run list.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Performs end-of-shift tasks such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work.
• Maintains a clean and orderly workstation; returns supplies to assigned locations.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Reports any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
