Job summary

Creative Technology in Los Angeles seeks a Warehouse Shop Technician to handle AV equipment, packing, labeling, and inventory tasks, ensuring timely preparation and returns for events. You will coordinate with operations on substitutions, receive sub-rented items, create Shipping Manifests or Carnets, push equipment to docking stations, load/unload trucks, and enter service data into the inventory system.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods in a 70,000+ square

Qualifications

• Forklift certification to operate sit-down and stand-up lifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares/returns AV equipment.
• Packages and labels items appropriately for transportation or based on show requirements.
• Works with operations to ensure proper substitutions on shortages.
• Receives sub-rented items into order to ensure fulfillment.
• Creates Shipping Manifest or Carnet prior to shipping.
• Responsible for pushing the equipment to various docking stations for outbound delivery.
• Loads/unloads trucks.
• Assists in restocking delivered equipment in various locations throughout the warehouse.
• Enters data into R2 (inventory) system.
• Documents service in inventory system and reports all damaged equipment to operations.
• Keeps detailed records of maintenance, QC, and items entered into repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$19 - $23 Per Hour

Experience & Education

• Prior experience working in warehouse helpful but not required
• Certified to drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Positive Attitude and ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time in a 70,000+ square foot warehouse.
• Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, lifting, climbing stairs, carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.
