Job summary

ETNA Supply Company, a longstanding wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, underground, municipal, and fire protection products, seeks a Warehouse Shipping Receiving associate in Detroit, MI. You will support warehouse operations, ensure accurate loading, receiving, and staging of orders, and assist customers at the counter with orders and pickups.

Key responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, labeling shipments, maintaining records, driving deliveries as needed, and

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Basic math including adding, subtracting and division.
• Must have valid CDL and DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to read and follow maps.

Responsibilities

• Pull, package, assemble, and stage orders accurately.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and properly store incoming materials.
• Label and mark products for shipment or customer pick-up.
• Maintain accurate receiving records, freight bills, and documentation.
• Delivery & Driving (Backup as Needed)
• Complete deliveries promptly and professionally when assigned.
