Job summary

PCI Pharma Services in Rockford is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator (Shipping) for third shift to coordinate inbound shipments of components and materials, manage the waste program, and track warehouse metrics. You will liaise with transportation, planning, and other departments to keep production on schedule.

Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience, basic math/computer skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and/or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Skills Testing at approved grade level for position.
• Ability to read/write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials.
• Maintain the daily schedule of inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and all other departments in matters pertaining to transportation and logistics.
• Coordinate with the waste hauler for pickup of waste and recyclables. Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance on forklifts.
• Gather and track warehouse related metrics.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper segregation of recyclables.
• Assist in the duties of Training for the Warehouse department.
• Assist in writing or updating departmental work practices and SOPs.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Knowledge of and adherence to PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies.

Position Title: Warehouse Coordinator (Shipping)

Shift: Third Shift

The primary function of this position is to coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials, facilitate PCI Rockford waste management system, schedule maintenance on forklifts, and track warehouse related metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials.
• Maintain the daily schedule of inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and all other departments in matters pertaining to transportation and logistics.
• Coordinate with the waste hauler for pickup of waste and recyclables. Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance on forklifts.
• Gather and track warehouse related metrics.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper segregation of recyclables.
• Act as a liaison between Receiving and Planning to ensure components are received as necessary to keep with the production schedule.
• Assist in the duties of "Training" for the Warehouse department.
• Assist in writing or updating departmental work practices and company SOP's. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
• Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.

Required:

• Skills Testing at approved grade level for position.

The hiring rate for this position is $19.96-$22.46 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
