Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Shift Lead in Monroe, OH. The role focuses on maximizing team productivity while upholding safety standards and HR policies. Typical schedule is Thursday-Sunday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with hourly pay of $20.00.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staffing, safety compliance, material handling, forklift duties, and shift documentation. Requires 1 year of lead experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Forklift certification required.

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s).
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on proper forms.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials; move to staging area; ensure loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks on Industrial power equipment.
• Examine products for conformance to quality standards.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments accurately, timely, and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Thursday-Sunday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
