Job summary

Agropur in Le Sueur, MN is seeking a Warehouse Semi Driver to drive and deliver product, operate a forklift, and load/unload trucks. The role requires attention to safety, compliance with DOT rules, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Four years of truck driving experience required.
• Two years forklift operation experience required.
• Experience backing a trailer into a dock required.
• Class A CDL with airbrake/tanker endorsement required.
• Clean driving record and Medical Examiner Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents and balance truck counts with shipping docs.
• Safely operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report per DOT rules.
• Deliver merchandise to appropriate locations and obtain signed delivery receipts.
• Prepare, stage, load and unload trucks; keep truck/trailer clean and orderly.
• Report equipment issues to management and ensure quality assurance procedures are followed.

We are looking for a Warehouse Semi Driver in Le Sueur, MN.

The Semi Driver (Warehouse Truck Driver) drives and delivers product. This position will also be required to use a forklift and load and unload other trucks as well.

Your role in achieving results:

• Maintain load manifests and all other vehicle documents, ensuring they are properly completed and balanced with truck counts and shipping documents before and after deliveries.
• Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Inspect company vehicle for visual defects when the vehicle is not running and operating defects when the vehicle is running; complete a daily inspection report per DOT rules.
• Comply with all DOT hours of service and rules of the road.
• Deliver merchandise to the appropriate location using the company vehicle; ensuring delivery receipt is signed by the receiver.
• Prepare, stage, load and unload trucks safely and accurately_._Keep truck and trailer clean and swept.
• Fill out all logs accurately and submit to the proper people.
• Report any issues with equipment to manager or supervisor.
• Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
• Keep daily truck logs.
• Perform general maintenance of trucks.
• Take trucks in for inspection, service and maintenance.

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience driving a truck and backing a trailer required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating a forklift required.
• Experience backing a trailer into a dock required.
• Good mechanical aptitude required.
• Slip Sheet Unit/Powerlift Jack operation preferred.

Certification/Licensure Required:

Class A CDL with airbrake/tanker endorsement required.

Clean driving record required.

Medical Examiner Certification to drive truck required.
