Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a warehouse picker in Houston, TX. You will select product from refrigerated and frozen areas, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and scan orders for accurate shipping. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to FIFO, and safe handling of merchandise.

The position runs Sunday through Thursday, 5 PM to finish, with extended hours and holidays as needed. Training on CK31/CK71 scanners is provided, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package and

• Able to read labels, pick lists, scanners, and shipping documents.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick cases from inventory locations and palletize.
• Operate MHE including forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Follow FIFO and maintain product integrity during handling and storage.
• Wrap and scan orders, return mis-picked items to proper locations.
• Follow safety guidelines and attend to shift requirements.

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAccurately, consistently and safely follow directions involving selecting product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse environment.Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and any additional equipment as needed.Accurately identifying and selecting cases of product from inventory locations.Accurately pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO (First in First out).Hand stacking product in a specific sequence and location on a pallet for shipment.Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage.Returning undelivered or mis-picked product to their proper inventory locations.Be able to transport product from storage area to designated shipping area in the facility within expected time.Must follow all safety rules and seeks to maintain a safe working environment.Observes safe product handling techniques.
