Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Warehouse Selector in Springfield, OH. This full-time role covers 1st and 2nd shifts, with Sundays-Thursdays schedule and Fridays/Saturdays off.

You’ll be on your feet, picking product for long shifts, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in multi-temperature areas including freezers. Base pay starts at $20.90 per hour with a $1.00 shift premium for 2nd shift, plus opportunities for raises and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends and overtime.
• No prior warehouse experience required (training provided).

• Selects and moves product for 10-hour shifts on feet.
• Regularly lifts up to 100 pounds.

Warehouse Selector (Full-Time, 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities)

Distribution Center: 4980 Gateway Blvd. | Springfield, Ohio

Pay & Financial Perks

• Base Starting Pay: $20.90 per hour

• Shift Premium: Earn an additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for 2nd Shift!

• Growth: Earn two scheduled pay raises in your first year.

• Performance Incentives: Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency (our selectors average 12% to 22% above their base rate through performance incentives and overtime!).

Available Work Schedules

Both schedules offer a steady Sunday through Thursday work week, with Fridays and Saturdays off!

• 1st Shift: Starts at 6:50 AM until finish.

• 2nd Shift: Starts at 6:50 PM until finish.
  (Shifts average 10 hours and vary daily based on work volume).

Selecting is physically demanding, highly rewarding work. No prior experience is required — our dedicated training team will teach you everything you need to know to succeed!

• You can read, write, and communicate effectively in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, and safety signs).

• You can successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

• Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not required!
