Job description

Meijer is Hiring Warehouse Selectors in our Fresh/Frozen Distribution Center.

Start Times: 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM

Varying Schedule: 4 - 10 Hour Days

The selected individual will be responsible for meat, produce, and dairy product selection (up to 75 lbs) and loading trailers for store delivery within our distribution facility.

The role also involves maintaining a friendly working relationship with a diverse team and leadership to promote productivity and positive customer service. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Working safely and promoting safety regulations throughout the facility
2. Keeping work area clean and orderly
3. Maintaining an excellent attendance record

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to work in various temperatures, with conditions ranging from -10°F to 0°F (occasionally) or 34°F to 55°F (frequently), depending on assignment
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling products up to 75 pounds continuously
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when required
• Successful completion of physical and background checks
• Reliable transportation
