Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at the Wilmington, IL site. The role includes operating equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

The position offers $17.00 - $17.50 per hour with 10-hour shifts (4 days a week) and 6:30am to 5pm or 6pm-5am schedules. Bonuses include $100 referral and $100 retention after 90 days, subject to eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and service/restock supplies.
• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report any barriers.
• Move furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
