Job summary

US6469 Sysco Payroll, a division of Sysco Resources Services, LLC, is seeking a Custodian/Sanitation worker for the warehouse. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitation, and maintaining a safe, organized facility.

Prior warehouse experience and the ability to work independently are preferred. The role requires standing and walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating cleaning equipment and basic material-handling tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties throughout the facility, including dusting, sweeping, washing, scrubbing, and mopping.
• Maintain sanitary conditions by disposing of trash and cleaning spills daily.
• Clean dry and cool areas, aisles, and mezzanine; preserve floor care with power equipment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials.
• Complete sanitation logs and support recycling and stretch wrap programs.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
