Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Edwardsville, IL seeks a permanent full-time Warehouse Sanitation associate to support our facility. The role includes cleaning duties across restrooms, offices and warehouse areas, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. Benefits, paid time off, weekly pay, and on-the-job training are provided at Ryder facilities nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read location, date and product codes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break room, locker room, and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Cleaning exterior areas of the building per sanitation schedule.
• Sweeping and scrubbing warehouse floors and office areas per sanitation schedule.
• Wiping down racks, guard rails, and walls per sanitation schedule.
• Additional duties as assigned, overtime as needed.
• Maintains a safe, clean, and tour ready facility.
• Assist Maintenance Techs as required and light maintenance activities such as painting.
