Lactalis American Group is hiring a Warehouse Sanitation Operator based in Nampa, ID. This role ensures cleanliness of the warehouse, performs routine sanitation tasks, and adheres to health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.

You will operate a floor scrubber and forklift, participate in improving the facility's appearance, and support overall warehouse cleanliness and safety initiatives. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years’ experience in warehousing is preferred but not required.
• Experience in sanitation or janitorial role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and forklift.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Operate floor scrubber and forklift to clean and move items as needed.
• Paint and improve overall general appearance of the warehouse when required.
• Keep exterior areas clean and maintain pallet storage and locker rooms.
• Monitor storage trailer cleanliness and functionality; report maintenance needs.

The Warehouse Sanitation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the warehouse facility. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, managing waste disposal, and adhering to health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• To do general cleaning daily as assigned and per a schedule. To include sweeping, mopping, trash removal, dusting, wiping/washing, and using cleaning chemicals.
• To operate a floor scrubber to clean, and a forklift to move items as needed.
• Needs to be willing to paint and improve overall general appearance of WH as needed.
• Help keep WH exterior clean. Pick up trash, move and organize WH areas and pallet storage.
• Help monitor storage trailer cleanliness and functionality as assigned.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Help keep locker room area clean and organized.
• All other duties as assigned

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education

• High School diploma preferred but not required.

Experience

• 2 – 3 years’ experience in Warehousing and Warehouse environment preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a sanitation or janitorial role preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Specialized Knowledge

• Ability to multi-task cleaning projects and not be afraid to tackle difficult tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and move heavy objects.
