Job summary

Avolta in South San Francisco is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to lead daily receiving, processing and distribution of goods to stores. You will manage shifts, coordinate scheduling, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining inventory accuracy.

The role requires experience in warehouse operations, SAP or similar systems, and Excel, with a focus on safety, efficiency and customer service. This is a full-time on-site role at the Hudson Distribution Center.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Proficient with Excel and database systems.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, processing and distribution of merchandise.
• Cover and run shifts; assist with scheduling to ensure full coverage.
• Adhere to delivery schedules; ensure accurate, timely processing of deliveries.
• Maintain inventory using computer systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Support transportation of orders between the warehouse and stores.
• Uphold product rotation and inventory accuracy.

This Warehouse Distribution Supervisor Position Is counting on you to:

• Work at the Hudson Distribution Center
• Have open / flexible availability and be able to work mornings, afternoons & evenings on weekdays and weekends
• Work a full-time schedule
• Provides excellent service to internal and external customers in receiving, processing and distributing merchandise and supplies to stores
• Assists management in covering and running shifts
• Assists with scheduling to ensure that all shifts are covered
• Complies with delivery schedules; accurately, timely, and efficiently processes deliveries
• Utilizes computer to manage accurate inventory for warehouse operations
• Assists in the transportation of orders and returns between the warehouse and stores (where applicable)
• Implements product rotation based on product code dates in warehouse and concepts
• Assists in all maintenance responsibilities and activities established by the warehouse
• Maintains fixtures and equipment storage
• Assists with bin location upkeep and the physical inventory process
• Reviews in-coming orders and advise Merchandise and/or Warehouse Manager of errors and questions and assists in resolutions when appropriate.
• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of product
• Warehouse supervisor experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Inventory Management
• Receiving, storing, delivering inventory experience required.
• Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer system required.
• SAP experience preferred
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with subordinates.
• Requires the ability to drive a truck safely.
• Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases.
