Job summary

FFF Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to participate in daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, receiving inbound goods, and facility maintenance.

You will interact with freight carriers, warehouse staff, customer service and management while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in shipping processes. A strong focus on safety, organization, and teamwork is required.

  • Assist in unloading and staging inbound receipts and loading outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment and follow safety standards.

Position Summary

This position is directly involved in all daily warehouse operations. Responsible for the picking and packing of sales orders, receiving inbound goods and facility maintenance.

This position requires interaction with freight carriers, fellow warehouse personnel, customer service and internal management.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Assist in the set up and preparation of picking isles, packing and processing stations. This may involve the assembly and stocking of shipping supplies and ensuring all areas involved are prepared for daily shipping processes.
  • Pick products/quantities/lot numbers accurately and efficiently from bin locations according to assigned pick jobs for FFF customer orders.
  • Package outbound FFF shipments according to established procedures to ensure the accuracy of the shipment and that it arrives damage free.
  • Accurately process FFF orders through the EWM/ShipERP interface in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in the Completion and filing the monthly Facility Maintenance Report according to established procedures,
  • Assist in the unloading and staging of inbound FFF receipts.
  • Assist in the loading of outbound FFF shipments.
  • Work together with fellow warehouse personnel to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
  • Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
  • Continuously strive to improve processes, service quality to internal and external customers.
  • Adheres specifically to all company policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations, and laws.
  • Display dedication to position responsibilities and achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  • Always represent the Company in a professional manner and appearance.

Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Preferred Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the medical industry a plus.

  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work.
  • Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.
  • Sound decision-making abilities.

  • This position entails a high level of responsibility to complete job accurately and on time.
  • Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply) and write legibly.

Physical requirements

Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Working condition include warehouse setting.

Mental Demands

Learning, thinking, concentration and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations’ situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
