Job summary

BDI seeks a Warehouse Representative in Cleveland, OH to perform daily distribution center activities including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory control. You will handle orders, maintain accuracy, and work in a fast-paced environment with safety as a priority.

Ideal candidates are prepared to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and operate material handling equipment. Training and compliance with company procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to stand, bend and lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
• Willingness to complete BDI training.
• Able to meet all physical requirements with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, ship, and receive orders from and to BDI customers, suppliers, and branches.
• Work efficiently to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift objects, often over 25 pounds and occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
• May be required to operate a forklift or order picker to reach objects from high shelves and racks.
• Responsible for other duties as they are assigned.

The Warehouse Representative is responsible for performing the daily business actives of the Distribution Center such as shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, ship, and receive orders from and to BDI customers, suppliers, and branches.
• Work efficiently to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift objects, often over 25 pounds and occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift heavy objects, occasionally topping 50 pounds in weight.
• Capability to learn and operate material handling equipment.
• Must be willing to complete all required BDI training.
• The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications
