Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our facilities. The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort materials by type into correct bins or conveyor belts.
• Remove contamination and non-recyclable items.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as balers, compactors, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Move cabinets, furniture, boxes, crates, and equipment for cleaning.
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors, and partitions.
• Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Wipe down furniture, appliances, and equipment.
• Use chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to avoid damage.
• Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
• Complete any other duties as assigned.
