Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a team member to maintain and process shipments, develop delivery schedules, verify counts, and route merchandise efficiently at the Folsom facility.

The role emphasizes safety, reporting, and adherence to company procedures while supporting a culture of integrity and teamwork. You will handle receiving, claims, and hazardous materials handling, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with policies while collaborating with management to meet daily priorities

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Maintains and processes shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses.
• Receives merchandise for the facility and maintains the Receiving area per company procedures
• Tracks and processes claims, returns damaged goods, handles liquidation merchandise, maintains the clearance area, and captures required reporting with technology
• Maintains facility safety by following safety standards, including forklift procedures and hazardous materials handling, reporting unsafe conditions to management
• Supports Walmart values and Open Door Policy in daily operations and collaborates with managers and partners to meet deadlines and improve processes
