Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies seeks a warehouse associate to prepare shipments and shipping documents, verify items, and move stock within the warehouse. The role includes operating forklifts, loading and unloading, and ensuring accurate inventory control.

Responsibilities cover handling carrier paperwork, local deliveries, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with ERP experience advantageous.

Qualifications

Two years shipping and receiving experience in hydraulics, distribution, or a related field.
Working knowledge of ERP software applications (Oracle, SAP, P21) and Microsoft office suite.
High School Graduate or GED required.
HH Forklift Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Receives inventory, pulls items from bins/storage area for orders.
Loads/unloads material on or from trucks or other vehicles.
Manages inventory.
Prepares bill of lading, shipping documents.
Operates forklift, and other lifting devices.
Keeps warehouse clean.
Resolves customer complaints.
Pick up and/or make deliveries locally.
Manages shipping/receiving duties.
