Job summary

CITY HOME in Tamarac, FL is seeking a Receiving Associate for our Distribution Center. The role focuses on efficient intake of furniture, accurate labeling, SKU verification, and damage prevention, enabling smooth operations within the warehouse.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, inspecting products, and maintaining safe, organized work zones. Full-time hours are 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with a competitive hourly base and opportunities for tenure-based increases, plus a robust benefits

Qualifications

• No High School diploma required.
• Previous warehouse/distribution center experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Unload products using proper handling techniques to minimize damages and injuries.
• Attach labels and verify SKUs to ensure barcode accuracy and reduced variances.
• Verify purchase orders for accuracy upon receipt.
• Inspect for damages and notify Supervisors with documented reasons.
• Operate order pickers and tuggers safely.
• Stage products in correct zones using proper handling techniques.
