Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate in Phoenix, AZ. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes accurate inbound processing, unloading, inventory control, and preparing orders for shipment using laptops and RF scanners. This is a fully onsite role within a busy distribution environment.

Hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, onsite. You must lift up to 50 lbs, operate pallet jacks/forklifts where applicable, and work well in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• 6 months of warehouse experience in shipping/receiving.
• Experience with inbound/outbound shipments and inventory.
• Ability to use RF scanners for picking, packing, loading, and inventory tracking.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• English reading/writing for paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound shipments in the system using a laptop.
• Unload pallets from trucks or delivery vehicles safely.
• Verify paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Use a mobile RF scanner to track inventory, scan items, and update order status.
• Perform picking, packing, loading, and unloading orders.
• Handle large orders and ensure they are correctly picked, packed, and prepared for shipment.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts where applicable.
• Palletize and package products securely for transit.
• Assist with inventory tasks and maintain organized storage areas.
• Follow safety procedures and material handling guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and support team members to meet daily goals.
