Compass Group USA is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate in Cincinnati, OH to receive shipments, verify against bills of lading and purchase orders, and maintain accurate receiving logs. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate pallet jacks and related equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and coordinate with event operations and other departments to ensure smooth material flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving and inspecting shipments.
• Ability to record logs accurately and maintain documentation.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA policies.
• Strong organization and communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and verify against documents.
• Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues.
• Record received items and maintain receiving logs.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading and staging of freight.
• Maintain an organized receiving area, dock, and storage spaces.
• Follow procedures for freight handling and inventory control.
• Coordinate with event operations, security, engineering, and other departments.
• Conduct inventory counts as requested.
• Deliver items to assigned spaces and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
