Job summary

Steiner Electric is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join our team in Elk Grove Village. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, inspecting goods for accuracy and quality, and using our RF handheld and Steiner business system to process receipts.

You’ll store items in correct locations and assist with other warehouse tasks as needed. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and strong communication with team members and vendors.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Fluent English – verbal and written.
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs and to work under time constraints.
• Ability to communicate professionally with Steiner, customers and vendors at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments off of incoming trucks.
• Inspect goods for accuracy and quality.
• Use RF handheld and Steiner business system to receive goods.
• Safely store goods in proper warehouse locations.
• Perform other various warehouse tasks as assigned by manager.
