Responsibilities

• Report discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in distribution for over 60 years, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Receiving Associate to join our Anchorage, AK team. In this essential role, you will help ensure the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse by unloading, receiving, and organizing inbound freight. Responsibilities

• Unload inbound freight from trailer vans (up to 53’ in length) in a dry and freezer warehouse environment (temperatures as low as 10°F above zero).
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize freight safely and efficiently.
• Receive inbound freight and verify against purchase orders.
• Replenish warehouse stock as needed.
• Assist with pulling and sorting customer orders for delivery.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• Adapt to changing priorities to meet daily deadlines and support overall warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn is welcome.
• Familiarity with warehouse flow and distribution processes preferred.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and sound judgment.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Commitment to safety and following operational guidelines.

Compensation

$22.00 per hour starting wage. Overtime may be available. Full-time, Monday - Friday, 12:30 am to 9:00 am or until job duties are complete.
