Job summary

Lowe's in Sterling, VA is seeking a Receiver/Stocker to accurately receive freight, stock shelves, and organize merchandise for customers. The role is physical, fast-paced and may include morning, afternoon, or overnight shifts based on store needs.

You will unload deliveries, handle equipment safely, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while helping customers locate or load products. Prior forklift or warehouse stocking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• 3 months experience operating forklift or power equipment such as lifts.
• 6 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by assisting customers and providing support during projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight and organizing shelves.
• Verify deliveries and prep docks, operating equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following hazardous materials and housekeeping procedures.
• Operate store equipment such as scanners and phones as needed.
• Support team with other assigned tasks.
