Job summary

Lowe’s Stores in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Receiver/Stocker to help keep shelves stocked and the backroom organized. You’ll unload deliveries, operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and assist customers as needed in a fast-paced environment.

This role supports both part-time and full-time schedules and emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment.
• 6 months experience in warehouse inventory handling and stocking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by assisting customers and supporting projects.
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, organizing shelves, and pallet setup.
• Verify deliveries, prep docks, and operate store equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following hazardous materials procedures.
• Collaborate with team to complete additional tasks as needed.
• Additional fulfillment duties include staging orders and ensuring load quality.
