Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Stock Worker and Receiver to support warehouse operations at the Troy location. This full-time role involves receiving shipments, unloading goods, stocking, and assisting with order placement.

Responsibilities include verifying shipments, moving items, communicating with vendors, and ensuring accurate records. The position requires physical stamina and adherence to safety procedures, with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year experience in warehouse or stock roles.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift operation certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Receives, lifts, moves, stores, issues, counts, sorts, weighs, and verifies items on requisitions or invoices.
• Receives and processes a wide variety of incoming freight daily across perimeter buildings.
• Compares incoming and outgoing shipments to bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records to verify information.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, and coordinates with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
