Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Warehouse Receiver / Packer in Carol Stream, IL. This contract-to-hire role focuses on accurate receiving, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will use RF scanners, pick sheets, and material-handling equipment to move inventory, support cycle counts, and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. Demonstrated warehouse experience and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• At least 6 months warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience using RF scanners for picking and inventory activities.
• Order picking and scanning experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately using an RF scanner in accordance with pick sheets and order sheets.
• Verify that all picked items match order requirements and quality standards before packing.
• Prepare products for shipment, including packing, labeling, and staging for outbound delivery.
• Perform inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Move materials throughout the facility using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Support receiving operations by handling incoming materials and organizing inventory.
