Job summary

Quirch Foods, LLC in Oregon is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklift equipment, pick orders for customers, and handle receiving and shipping tasks daily. You will scan documents, maintain accurate inventories, rotate stock, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.

The role requires reading and understanding English, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform job tasks.
• Ability to operate forklifts and handheld scanners with training.
• Prior forklift/pallet jack experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CK31 & CK71 scanner is a plus.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting 20–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and electric pallet jack as needed.
• Scan and forward P.O. documentation to accounting.
• Collect checks and payments from drivers.
• Pick orders for customers.
• Rotate stock and maintain product integrity.
• Prepare daily receiving/shipping instructions.
• Load/unload shipments per P.O requirements.
• Process and restock returns.
• Label and stock products accurately.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and facility security.
• Slot products in racks and support housekeeping.
