Job summary

The McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Receiver in Temple, TX. You’ll be responsible for receiving new and returned product, ensuring it is saleable, and managing inbound dock flow to keep operations efficient.

You’ll work in a safety-minded, team-oriented environment with industry-leading benefits, competitive pay at $18.25 per hour, and opportunities for advancement through hands-on training and a culture that values every teammate.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferably have previous receiving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect product as it arrives from carriers.
• Document overages/shorts/damages, expiration dates, temperature, trailer condition, pests or tampering.
• Direct carriers and unloaders on sorting and segregation of product.
• Maintain product integrity per McLane Company standards.
• Print pallet labels and enter purchase orders into the system.
