Job summary

Aerotek in Ocala, FL is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to support daily shipping operations, including picking, packing, labeling, and preparing outbound shipments. The role is hands-on, in a fast-paced environment, using RF scanners and computer systems to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

The position is contract to hire, onsite, with first-shift hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), offering weekly pay and standard benefits in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

  • Experience packing, picking, and labeling in a warehouse/shipping environment.
  • High attention to accuracy and detail in order fulfillment.
  • Ability to use computer systems for data entry and order processing.
  • Experience with shipping/receiving processes and documentation.
  • Ability to operate an RF scanner for inventory and order verification.
  • Experience loading/unloading materials and safe forklift operation.
  • Ability to receive and organize incoming materials.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.

Job Description

This role supports daily shipping operations by accurately picking, packing, labeling, and preparing outbound shipments. The position involves working in a fast-paced, physically active environment and using computer systems and RF scanners to ensure orders are processed correctly and efficiently.


Responsibilities


  • Pick parts and materials for customer orders based on instructions provided through the computer system

Essential Skills


  • Hands-on experience with packing, picking, and order picking in a warehouse or shipping environment

  • Proficiency in picking and packing orders with attention to accuracy and detail

  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes

  • Ability to operate an RF scanner for inventory and order verification

  • Experience with loading and unloading materials

  • Ability to receive and organize incoming materials

  • Experience operating a forklift or similar material-handling equipment

  • Ability to safely load product onto trucks

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
