Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Warehouse Materials Handler. You will verify over-picked items against the Job Traveler and Pick List, print and apply labels, and move items to the put-away area for return to inventory.

The role serves as the quality checkpoint between Production and Warehouse, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and verification before restocking. Forklift experience is preferred; certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, material handling, inventory, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Stand-up forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain/use forklift certification as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to accurately read and verify part numbers, lot numbers, and quantities.
• Comfortable using computers or inventory systems to complete material transactions and print labels.

Responsibilities

• Verify over-picked materials returned from Production by checking part numbers, lot numbers, and quantities against the Job Traveler and Pick List.
• Print and apply labels to accurately identify returned materials.
• Move and organize verified materials in the designated put-away area for return to warehouse inventory.
• Serve as the quality checkpoint between Production and Warehouse, ensuring all returned materials are properly identified, labeled, and verified before being restocked.
• Operate a stand-up forklift as needed to transport materials back to warehouse racks.
