Job summary

Arvato Direct Services Potsdam GmbH is seeking a QA Inspector to ensure product quality in a fast-paced warehouse. You will perform inspections, document results, and collaborate with Operations and Quality leadership to meet customer specifications and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, problem solving and accurate data entry, with ISO/Lean/Six Sigma exposure preferred. Proficiency in English and basic math are required, and SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Quality-focused mindset with commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and support corrective actions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and data entry.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills for counting and verifying material quantities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and maintain reliable attendance.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, schedules and work assignments.
• Preferred experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Preferred familiarity with warehouse management or inventory systems (e.g., SAP).
• Preferred knowledge of quality standards or continuous improvement methodologies, such as ISO, Lean, Six Sigma or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily quality inspection goals for assigned programs.
• Perform work accurately and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Ensure orders are completed on time and meet customer specifications, quality requirements and service-level expectations.
• Perform inspections and record results using appropriate systems and documentation.
• Identify, document and elevate quality issues, non-conforming materials and process risks.
• Assist with the control, processing and disposition of non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures.
• Support QMS compliance activities, including data entry, CARs and non-conformance investigations.
• Verify the use of approved materials, documentation and quality control procedures throughout production.
• Perform batch record reviews and coordinate issues with Leads, Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with shipping activities, receiving inspections and other operational support as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality Leadership to support production planning, quality objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
