Responsibilities

• Perform daily production activities and operate equipment in a high-volume, safe manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including janitorial tasks as assigned.
• Prepare machinery and tools for sanitation and assist with breakdowns and cleaning.
• Operate trucks and industrial vehicles to transfer product onsite.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in safe working condition and suggest improvements.
• Assist in setting up machinery and verifying readiness for production daily.
• Follow food safety policies to ensure product safety and quality.
• Identify and report unsafe operations to supervision promptly.
• Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and GMP beyond regulatory needs.

Job description

As a Warehouse/Manufacturing Operator, you will handle and monitor product and equipment, ensure that everything is running smoothly, and be a safe, productive, and valued team member within the warehouse.

This role is onsite in El Segundo 5 days.

Payrate is $20-$23/hr

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily production activities and operate equipment while maintaining a safe, high-quality, high-volume manufacturing environment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including sweeping, gathering trash, and other janitorial duties as assigned
• Prepare machinery and tools for sanitation, and/or assist with breakdown and cleaning of machinery
• Operate trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer product from warehouse to onsite facility
• Ensure equipment is maintained in clean, good, and safe working condition and recommend improvements to ensure safety, quality, and production capacity
• Assist in assembling and verifying all machinery is set up and ready for production daily and set to spec for operations
• Prepare workstations, gather required tools, and retrieve daily batch sheets from Lead/Supervisors
• Follow all Food Safety policies in ensuring safety and quality of product
• Recommend and support development and process improvements to enhance operational safety and efficiency
• Identify and report unsafe operations to Supervisor or leader immediately
• Follow all company policies and procedures, safety procedures, food safety guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices beyond regulatory needs
• Performs other duties, as assigned, and follows through on requests in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

• Manufacturing experience and warehouse experience is preferred
