Job summary

Misfits Market is a mission-driven startup delivering groceries and sustaining a carbon-efficient delivery model. We seek a Warehouse Lead to support production, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

You will work in a refrigerated environment, operate forklifts, and collaborate across teams to meet daily goals. Responsibilities include enforcing GDP/ SQF guidelines, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating with inventory for stock replenishment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in refrigerated environment (36 degrees).
• Pass forklift operator certification.
• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends if needed.
• Strong verbal communications skills.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production leaders to communicate daily goals, targets, and safety briefings.
• Delegates and distributes personnel to ensure on-time completion of tasks and orders.
• Adheres to SQF Food Safety Code and GDP rules on the warehouse floor.
• Drives a proactive safety culture and escalates concerns as needed.
• Maintains quality control measures and conducts regular inspections.
• Operates forklifts and handling equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Communicates with inventory control to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Fosters cross-team communication to resolve issues affecting delivery of orders.
