Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a terminal operations helper to support loading, unloading, storing, mixing, and blending products at the Musket terminal. The role focuses on safe, efficient tank car unloading and material handling in a high-volume environment.

The position requires ability to lift over 50 lbs, follow SOPs, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Willing and able to work a 5-day schedule with possible overtime.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with operating procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations.
• Follow policies and wear required safety equipment.
• Unload truck trailers, store materials, and track materials in terminal inventory system.
• Ensure inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; report variances.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move items.
• Conduct routine inspections on forklift equipment and ensure it operates well.
• Use blending/mixing machines and follow SOPs.
• Monitor equipment and production for safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Clean blending equipment and terminal; clean walls, floors and fixtures as needed.
• Conduct quality control tests and draw samples for lab testing.
• Record data such as process conditions, test results, and instrument readings.
• Maintain records of cleaning and product batches.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
