Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work scheduled work hours, along with occasional required overtime.
• Ability to read a tape measure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or disassemble various products – foam, lumber, corrugated, etc. – according to print sheets in a timely manner.
• Safely and responsibly use tools required for assembly (saws, staplers, nail guns, heat guns, glue guns, wrapping carousel, banding tools, drills, hammers, etc.).
• Inspect and report product quality, proper quantities and packaging, proper labels, and record production weights.
• Notify supervisor of material needed for production and assist in retrieving that material.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Report hazardous situations or abuse.
• Maintain a clean workspace and perform general tasks (sweeping, trash, spills).
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.
