Warehouse Associates at NWS in Greensboro, NC assist in receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping materials to meet customer expectations. You will work with peers and supervisors to maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating forklift with certification, staging orders, inspecting materials, keeping the facility clean, and adhering to all policies and safety guidelines while presenting a neat, professional image.

Responsabilités

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor or their designate.
• Prepare and stage orders in appropriate area for delivery or customer pickup.
• Follow all internal procedures or special instructions pertaining to preparation and staging of orders.
• Receive materials from suppliers, as well as customer equipment by properly inspecting material against paperwork received with equipment or material.
• Put away all materials and/or equipment in their properly designated locations in a timely manner.
• Communicate positively with fellow workers, supervisors, and customers.
• Responsible for keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Process returned materials and equipment according to internal procedures.
• Adhere to all established company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Present a neat and professional image at all times.
• Assist in keeping facility secure.
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
