Job summary

The Guitar Center Company in California is seeking a Warehouse Equipment Operator to ship, receive, unload, scan, move, stage, load, locate, relocate, and stack products using powered equipment. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and reliable operation within a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, plus proficiency with powered equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably within a distribution center or warehouse.
• 1 year of experience operating various types of powered equipment in a warehouse environment, such as Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, Turret, Order Picker.
• Experience driving Crown Powered Equipment preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products/materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
• Operate RF Scanners, Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift, Turret, Order Picker and other powered equipment as needed for the task on hand.
• Responsible for order selection processes as assigned by the Operations Supervisor and/or Operations Manager.
• Assess all products and pallets, notifying supervisor(s) of any damaged materials.
• Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the department.
