Job summary

Randstad USA in Tukwila, WA is seeking motivated picker/packers for an active, hands-on role in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position runs 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM and involves daily physical activity with lifting up to 50 lbs.

You will pick items, pack them securely, and ensure labels and invoices match the shipment details. Applicants should be comfortable with standing during shifts, following safety rules, and meeting speed and accuracy benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Picking tasks: Travel through warehouse aisles to locate and pull products indicated by order documentation, efficiently moving required inventory from storage to staging areas.
• Packing tasks: Prepare pulled products for shipment, which involves boxing, applying protective packaging, sealing, and affixing correct shipping labels.
• Utilize basic material handling aids like rolling carts and hand dollies to transport items between picking and packing stations.
• Assist with basic stock handling, ensuring inventory in picking locations is organized and easily accessible for efficient retrieval.
• Adhere to all required speed and accuracy metrics set for both the picking and the final packing process.
