Job summary

BuyWander is seeking a Product Handler – Picker (Part Time) in Portland, OR to accurately pick customer orders, scan items, and assist customers as needed. The role requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with experience using a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner.

You will support order fulfillment, maintain organized shelves, and help locate lost items. This position is Monday through Friday, $18.00 per hour, with paid sick days and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in order picking preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a smartphone and Bluetooth scanner.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve items from warehouse locations according to orders using a smartphone and scanner.
• Verify order accuracy and completeness.
• Work with speed and accuracy to meet daily performance goals.
• Ensure that every item is scanned into the correct cart and/or shelf location.
• Conduct warehouse inventory scans as needed.
• Assist with running customer orders and load-out as directed by the Supervisor.
• Hunt for lost items using last-known-location data and other logic.
• Maintain clean and organized shelves and ensure items are stored in designated locations.
