Job summary

Nassau Candy's NC Custom division is seeking a Warehouse Picker at our Ronkonkoma, NY site. This full-time role requires accurate order picking, RF unit scanning, and safe handling of product with up to 50 lb lifts.

Forklift experience (Sit-Down and Cherry Picker) is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for our diverse team. You'll work from a daily picking report to fulfill orders, maintain a clean warehouse, and report any stock issues or damaged items to the supervisor as part

Responsibilities

• Work from a daily picking report to fulfill orders accurately.
• Use an RF Unit to scan task numbers; the unit will display the location and quantity of each required product.
• Pick items, scan them using the RF Unit, and hand them off to the production team.
• Stack merchandise safely, placing heavier items on the bottom and lighter items on top.
• Identify and report any out-of-stock items.
• Notify the supervisor of items found in the wrong location.
• Handle all products with care and report any damaged items to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by disposing of trash and labeling backings properly.
• Count and mark the number of pieces in each box clearly on the label.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards; authority to halt production if concerns arise.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Picker to join our busy production site in Ronkonkoma, NY.

• Location: Ronkonkoma, NY
• Schedule: Full-time with overtime as needed Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Bilingual English/ Spanish Preferred

How You'll Make an Impact

Work from a daily picking report to fulfill orders accurately.

Use an RF Unit to scan task numbers; the unit will display the location and quantity of each required product.

Pick items, scan them using the RF Unit, and hand them off to the production team.

Stack merchandise safely, placing heavier/larger items on the bottom and lighter/smaller items on top.

Identify and report any out-of-stock items.

Notify the supervisor of any items found in the wrong location.

Handle all products with care and immediately report any damaged items to the supervisor.

Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by disposing of trash and label backings in designated receptacles.

Count and mark the number of pieces in each box clearly in the center of the label.

Ensure compliance with food safety standards. This role has the authority to halt production if food safety concerns arise and must report and support the investigation of any potential issues.

Forklift experience is required (Sit-Down and Cherry Picker).
