Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is hiring a full-time warehouse worker to pull, package and move merchandise, using powered equipment and RF scanning. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and certification to operate powered equipment may be required. Overtime may apply, with a pay range of $15.45 to $25.45 per hour.

Responsabilidades

• Repetitively places and pulls merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations using a handheld RF device or voice recognition system.
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds for shipment using pallet jacks or other equipment.
• Performs inventory activities, counting material and verifying against records.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise using powered equipment.
• Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked in storage locations to maintain inventory levels.
• Packages merchandise for shipment with correct labeling.
• Moves non-conveyable items (bulky items) to storage locations.

Pulls merchandise from storage locations. Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise for shipment. Operates powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, standup lifts and turret trucks), and handles non-conveyable items (i.e., bulky items).

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Repetitively places and pulls merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds to and from storage locations, using a hand-held radio frequency device and/or voice recognition system to scan and/or record selected merchandise from storage locations or within a computer operated pick-module or carousel
• Receives, picks, packages, loads and moves merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets using powered or manual pallet jacks, or other powered material handling equipment (e.g., standup lifts and turret trucks).
• Performs inventory activities, including counting material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and comparing inventories to office records or computer figures.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks with merchandise using powered industrial material handling equipment (e.g., standup lifts and turret trucks).
• Arranges merchandise to be staged or stocked in storage locations to maintain inventory levels.
• Packages merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets; ensures correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.
• Moves non-conveyable items (i.e., bulky items) to and from storage locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or its equivalent (GED).
• Basic math proficiency.
• Ability to repetitively lift and/or move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification in order to operate powered material handling equipment.
