Qualifications

• 0–6 months of related work experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime as required for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly; able to lift 10–35 lb and up to 60–90 lb depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule, obtain supplies and prepare for operations.
• Perform safety check on pallet jack/forklift and ensure safety devices function.
• Ensure work area is safe; report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Wrap pallets with cellophane, secure loads, and ensure shipping labels are in place.
• Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
• Operate and maintain production equipment.
• Keep warehouse and loading dock clean and organized.
• Wear appropriate PPE and safety gear.
• Secure equipment and complete necessary paperwork at shift end.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Follow all safety policies and preferred work methods.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. The Pallet Wrapper prepares pallets of out-going freight for shipping by maneuvering and utilizing the robotic wrapping machine and transports pallets with an electric pallet jack. The position functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities

• Reviews work schedule, obtains supplies required to perform the work and prepare for operations.
• Performs safety check on pallet jack / forklift to be used and ensure that all other safety devices are functioning properly.
• Ensures work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions and/or acts immediately.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane, secure load/pallets and make sure shipping labels are in place as needed.
• Moves out going products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Operates and maintains production equipment.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and keeps warehouse area/loading dock clear and clean as required.
• Puts on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
• At the end of the shift, secures all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
• Meets required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
• Follows all preferred work methods, safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Required Experience: 0 - 6 Months
• Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift. Able to occasionally lift, stack, and/or pull products from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift

• Preferred Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• Preferred Experience: 6 Months - 1 Year
