Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a motivated Warehouse Pallet Technician in North Las Vegas, NV. This full-time role focuses on safe forklift operation, pallet loading/unloading, and keeping the facility organized to meet customer needs.

Shifts vary days/nights, with starting pay at 16.80 per hour. Candidates should have 1–3 years forklift experience and be able to read English safety and operating documents. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience as forklift operator.
• General janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift or hand truck to load/unload goods.
• Move and stack pallets or crates according to inventory.
• Perform daily equipment checks and clean working areas.

These positions are primarily responsible for meeting customer needs and exceeding customer expectations in the pick-up and removal of Corrugate Gondolas throughout the facility. If more than one shift use one line for each shift.Starting Pay: $16.8 per hourOur Warehouse Pallet Technician position performs the following duties within designated work areas, as assigned at the beginning of each shift:Duties and Responsibilities:Perform all duties in accordance with company Quality, Service, & Safety StandardsOperate forklift or other hand truckLoad and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraftMove goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facilityStack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructionsEnsure that loads are secureStack empty palletsPerform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipmentRemove machine attachments and waste material from machinesPick up cardboard, plastics and other items or debris; load and remove to stacking area or debris bin(s) or other designated locationProvide support to the janitorial crew when neededProvide additional janitorial support as member of onsite crewClean building floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuumingGather and empty trashEducational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements1-3 years’ experience as forklift operatorGeneral janitorial experience preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)Valid certification to operate forklifts and must be able to satisfactorily pass company PIT (Performance Industrial Trucks) TrainingKBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information.
